The legacy of Robert Walls

Well in fairness to Walls, his argument was that Archer was the best because he wasn’t individually brilliant but made his teammates better, a concept Carey wouldn’t understand.

So I take it you never saw Carey play then. Fair enuf.

I saw him play, and I respected and admired him. Unlike many others I never booed him.

But I was also aware of his reputation in his last Kangas years of being a poor Capitan who didn’t pay attention to the rest of the club. I know I lot of Kanga fans who thought the ‘scandal’ was a good thing for the club as they were able to trade him away for draft picks when his body was shot but he still behaved like a superstar. Carey has brave and fearless, and a great example but towards the end he was by no stretch of the imagination a ‘team man’.

Btw I don’t agree Archer was better than Voss, or Hird, or Buckley, but I think Walls was going over the top to make a point about one of his pet players.

Anyone else listening to Wayne Carey call out that fool Walls on 3AW at the moment? Walls reckons Glen Archer is a better player than Voss, Hird, or Harvey....Carey basically laughing in his fool face.

Oh ur kidding, archer is a great player yes i think we all agree but not in the class of Voss, Hird or Harvey....Walls we're laughing at you too, u fool.

Now have a look at what that "football journalist" has done now!!!!!!!! In today's Age, he has simply resorted to cutting and pasting from half the posts here on PRE , and cobbling it together into an "article"!! ::) ::) ::) ( ;))

He was Captain Obvious in the article. Didn't tell us anything we don't already know but he could have at least put his hand up as part of the reason Joel and Richo probably won't emulate their father's feats.
