PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Make no mistake about it...tonight we saw the making of 2 champions in the making :

ADAM PATTISON and NATHAN FOLEY

They will play together for the next 200 games...don't be surprised to see them Captain and Vice Captain in years to come.

Patto was a warrior tonight...rucked all night...gave everything he had for the yellow and black. Can you imagine how dominant he will be in 2 years from now ?
Nathan has won our best and fairest already this year...what a dedicated young man he is to dig deep in the pre season to iron out all his flaws. Right now he is our best player.

Sensational games by King & Edwards tonight...youngsters that run a straight line...players you want on your side in a war.

I have knocked Krakouer so much on this forum...I was proud of him tonight...but one game isn't enough...but Krak if you play with that spirit in the future...you will always be picked in our best 18.

Very disappointed with Tambling tonight...he had a couple of chances to make a physical presence but chose to watch in fright...I hate that in footballers.

Deledio...still too soft for mine...one thing for sure...keep him away from the hard ball...play him up forward or at half back Terry...Tambling is in the same boat.

Schulz will be dropped next week...needs time to get some confidence back...he will make way for Jack Rievoldt next week.

Howat, Polo and Thursfield showed they will be regulars in years to come.

Pettifer, Tuck and Raines need to do more.

Newman, Bowden and Polak did alright.

Jackson and Meyer showed glimpses but are still a long way from finding consistency in their games.

Tivendale and Johnson are on their last legs.

Richo is Richo...all Richmond.

No doubt whatsoever we break our duck next week against Essendon..

But for me tonight belonged to PATTISON and FOLEY...a gun combination in years to come.
