Do we still have the Mentor Program, you know the one where the players were matched up with a past player in order to give them a sounding board/confidant?
Did it work? i remember people saying how so and so had sorted out their protegee and got them on the straight and narrow and how some players were well spoken and nice guys etc.
But has it had any on-field benefit? Maybe it has. But surely, like so many things around the club, ie. Our coach, our on-field leadership, our drafting, that Bond bloke, Anthony Mithen and all the other targets that have been lined up for execution this season, they have failed.
so are we still running this program, is it meaningful and what outcomes has it had?
