Yes.
In my past working environments I have been able to compare good & poor cultures, and the outcomes that result.
I'd been able to identify certain elements without really understanding how it all came together.
Now I do.
And it does work.
In my short experience at MLQ, I've seen it work for schools, universities, government departments, including our military, our major companies, and now sporting institutes.
Yes, it does work.
Amongst some of the Tiger admin there is some doubt.
The doubt is due partly to ignorance, the modern Tigers don't really know that much about leadership, and fear because there are some in the Tigers admin that fear what the in-depth research might uncover.
(You know the old adage, what you are scared of, you either hide from or discredit.)
Money constraints also affect what can be spent on leadership development at the club.
So far, it has been left up to Paul Armstrong with extremely limited resources, and I know it hasn't been done properly.
I believe Gary understands the importance of leadership development programs and this will get more attention in 2008, given better finances.
