If the draft is so deep why bother trading a player simply to move up two spots.  Makes no sense.

That's what I can't work out either?

Two spots could be the difference between getting the player that you want or having to find an alternative.

EXACTLY Phanto...its not rocket science...

And if the alternative turns out better than the player we wanted?

Maybe it is rocket science 8ty? ;)

The player may turn out better but the player may not be what the club was in desperate need of at the time....we need to fill a KP void.....we must draft a KPP.

To get the right tall. Or to pass Brisbane to get a small.

I've got a feeling that the player we want will fall through to #7.

is there anything you dont know about football and i am NOT being sarcastic?

It's just a hunch that we will be very happy with whatever comes through to #7.

I've got absolutely no scoop, though.

I got another hunch

Anybody we pick in the later rounds we wont be able to believe lasted so long .

"he shouldve gone in the 1st round ect ect"

Who do you think the club would be the most happiest, that fell through to pick 7 Dyer'er?

Can we please stop overrating him.

Tambo is improving all the time and showing some great signs for the future. I'd rather read a player being "overrated" (read supported and believed in) than continually read players being bagged because of reputation rather than actual performance.

Didn't bag Tambling. People overrate him when they say Polo isn't in Tamblings league. Polo has easily performed better.

Nice Blaisee. Too true.

In a draft when the top 20 are touted as being pretty equal, coupled with the uncertainty of who teams will draft prior to us, to think offloading a player such as Krak (no, I'm not really a fan) to gain two spots in the queue is ridiculous.
