Here we are deep into another rubbish season where most other clubs supporters would have stopped caring weeks, if not years ago. Yet on two separate threads we are having the internet equivalent of a all in bare knuckle bawling on PRE about Adam Patterson and Dan Jackson, two guys the average causal footy fan would have barely heard of, it at all.
I don't agree with the argument that that the fans are the promblem at Richmond. Firstly I think it's rubbish to think that the powers that be are influenced in their day to day decisions about the club by the fans. But more importantly no matter whether you think DJ or Patto is a keeper or the biggest dud to ever put on a jumper, our passion to still care about such an unsuccessful club is one of the best things the club has left.
