I was drawn to the comparison of our Pattison to Hille of the Dons.
I could be wrong, but I believe that David Hille was pick40 of the 1999 draft.
He spent 2000 in the ressies, then debuted in 2001.
His annual games have been.
2000 - zero.
2001 - 6 games, 35 disps, 1 goal, 47 HOs.
2002 - 19 games, 165 disps, 11 goals, 132 HOs.
2003 - 24 games, 262 disps, 20 goals, 348 HOs.
2004 - 23 games, 241 disps, 25 goals, 293 HOs.
2005 - 13 games, 183 disps, 10 goals, 225 HOs.
Pattison was drafted in 2004, and did get a senior game in his first year, which Hille didn't.

What's the point of this?
