Fair point dave but I reckon Tambling deserves one more year.

You're why we don't need central heating in the superbox CC.CC TIGER said:I,d like to think that Polak an Sarge will be both live up to there potential an both be excellent players for us.but the one who I think could have a 40 goal year next year as a key forward is Cleve, starting to look very imposing as he fills out an is simply all class, lets just hope he believes it ;D

40 goals in the seniors you think CC?
Might want to kick a few for Coburg seniors first but I hope you are right!!!
CC TIGER said:With the type of player he is ,very quick lead ,super hands an an outsatnding kick for goal,he is just the type who could adapt to Afl very quickly with his natural way of playing.
Now it is not as simple as taking 3 marks a game inside 50 an kicking 40 goals from 60 shots but he has the physical tools to be able to do this, with the right structures an upfield delivery I think it quite possible that he could achieve this.
Lets not forget he did kick 41 goals in the 3 grades he played this year an I would guess 90% of these were lead an mark goals. For his 3 senior games he returned 3 goals from limited game time an to me that says worse case senario he will get 22 on board for the year ;D,probally for me the biggest reason I think with oppurtunity he could kick 40+ goals for the season is that he appears to be the type that the faster the game is played the better he likes it,he also is very very good when the ball hits the deck for a KPP as well ,which of couse increases his chance for goals.
It may not be next year but I will be shocked if this kid continues to improve his attitude an does not become a 50 + goal kicker in the future, will be 20 next year an I think we will see a lot to like
its not just the high picks hes gifted games to *smile* gaspar hall krakouer pettifer are just a few still on the list being gifted games. jesus the one thing the club is consistent with is hanging on to hacks to long and playing them in front of kids.Harry said:SCOOP said:It does worry me somewhat that we are so desperate for Polak and Sarge to come on.
Polak and *smile* need to show more then they ever have for us to continue our upward trend. Especially Polak, he almost is the most important person on our list. If he can hold down a KP then we are in such better shape down back. What has concerned about Polak is comments like "Terry and Greg pretty much assured me I'd be in round 1 2007".
I would be telling him "if you do all the hard work over summer and are super fit you have the ability to be our CHB or CHF come Round 1 next year but there is no promises. You need to make it happen on the track". Then to struggle at the first Tan run and look pretty unfit, as he has his whole footballing life, just sends shivers down my spin that so much depends on this guy.
We really are in a desperate way for KKP and this draft is just so crucial to our list. A good draft (we get a KPP at 13 or second round but please be 13) and the pressure is off Polak a little but a shocking draft were Rieowldt, Brown and McKenzie are all gone by 13 and we end up with Jetta or Benjamin and the pressure will multiply on Polak.
Adding to this is that Wallace will play Polak for most of the year regardless of form just so he and Miller don't end up with egg on their face. Similar to the way he has gifted games to Tambling and to a lesser extent Meyer to justify the high picks they were taken at.

Do you agree with Harry or not Claw?
You're the one who been screaming the last two years that we should play the kids regardless and yet Harry's having a dig at the club for affording games to Tambling and Meyer??? You can't have it both ways.
Sounds to me like you want to have your cake and eat it too.![]()
Thankspharace said:Well said Billy James. The kernel of your comments are still sound, no matter how they are twisted in shape by others - and that is that the credit given to Schulz thus far by many is exalted compared to his career thus far. I heard you Billy, you too want Schulzy to be a success, why wouldn't we, but what we want and what we are getting at the moment are two different things. 2007 is Schulzy's year - one way or another!
