If Wallace is allowed to see out the rest of his tenure, we may as well accept the Gold Coast deal and be done with it. One of the biggest imposters in AFL football that i have seen in a very long time.
After dropping Bowden, Tivendale and Pettifer to the twos, and the team showing some fantastic signs against Hawks, Freo, Dogs, St Kilda he goes and screws the whole thing up by bringing these duds back into the side.
Obviously these players have a negative effect on the playing group and the youngsters that were in there place showed more in 4 weeks then they have in all their career.
Unless the RFC and that imposter Wallace can answer these questions then this once great club is in dire trouble.
Why were these 3 players recalled into the side after the team finally started showing some fantastic signs??
Why was Morton dropped?? What was the purpose of giving up a mid draft pick to leave him in the twos??
Why was Mcguane dropped??
Why wasn't Hyde dropped??
Why wasn't Mcmahon dropped??
Why did we give up our pick 18 for a skinny, soft unacountable footballer, when we could have used that selection to pick up Selwood?? By all acounts he is developing wonderfully.
What is the culture at the RFC at the moment??
Why did we give up an early pick for Polak, who was supposedly drafted to fill the hole in our backline due to the lack of big sized defenders, yet never given a go there??
Why hasn't the skill level of the side improved over 4 years??
Who is developing the youngsters??
Why do we lack genuine leadership?? I have heard people say that without Johnson the club has absolutely no one else that can show true leadership on the field. That is why after his indiscretion this year, there was never any doubt of him losing the captaincy!! We have a average footballer crutial to our sides leadership.
Why have we kept players like Hyde, Tivendale, Pettifer, Schulz, Bowden for so long when they offer us absolutely nothing??
Why does every single other club in the league have atleast 5-6 very good senior players??
Why was it good enough for the Hawks to bottom out the same year Clarkson got there and we couldn't??
Time for Wallace to be shown the door and Hardwick appointed. I believe Hardwick is a perfect fit for our club. Was hard, hated losing, seen the effect of giving youngsters a go ala Hawks. Will have the balls to keep players in line.
If Wallace isn't sacked he will continue to look for quick fixes and overlook the youngsters. No matter how good the players are that we draft they will be brought into a terrible environment where winning isnt a necessity!!!
Time for the hierarchy to grow some balls and make the tough decision, or else you will see T.Cotchin turn into another Fiora once affected by the diseases called Pettifer, Tivendale and Bowden.
Also want to hear from all the einsteins who kept insisting we needed Bowden and Pettifer in the side, even though we were playing the best football this club has seen in a long time.
