The Richo Full Forward Conundrum....

IMO Richo is a dead-set champion! No if or buts about it. On the flip-side I can understand the other forwards frustration at the game plan of 'kick it to Richo', although I am sure Browny doesn't have any such concerns.

It's not Richo's fault, and nor the other forwards fault either as they are probably all doing what they have been instructed to do. I for one will be looking forward to watching the big guy in full flight again this weekend.

Go Tige's! :)

At the risk of repeating what many have said:

*He is by far the best option we have at FF, CHF or really wherever he plays on the forward line. Until someone else steps up and commands his position, he should stay.

*It isn't his fault that players kick to him when he has three defenders hanging off him. Its the responsibility of other forwards to create options and the ball carrier to have some awareness. I would hope that Wallace doesn't instruct the team to kick it to Richo at all costs- if so then it is ridiculous.

*He is a star. How bad would we have been had he not played for us over the past 15 years? I get sick to death of the knockers getting stuck into him. His positives outweigh his negatives by a long, long way. Its bad enough that opposition supporters get stuck into him, let alone our own.

The fact that opposition supporters get stuck into him is further proof of his greatness.

He reminds Carlton supporters that they've got Fevola, Collingwood supporters that they've got Rocca, Essendon supporters that they've got Lloyd,...

Has anyone read the 4 page spread in the 'new' 4Quarters magazine on Richo? If not get it from your newsagency.

Yes at the game against Carlton they were all laughing at Richo after his first two shots at goal (even though the cross wind made it tricky for everyone). They were deadly silent as he bagged his 5th and the Tigers went 30 points in front. Only one way to answer the critics, with actions.
