Maybe this is more of an Off-field topic (Rosie please move if it is):

- Just saw that there is more division at Carlton. Club in serious debt, Board Splits, vacant CEO, juniors reluctant to stay, overrated senior players, coach under pressure....

Sound familiar? I was just starting to enjoy their pathetic hopelessness, when I realised that is exactly how every other Club and supporter must have viewed RFC over the past 5 years. A club mired in a mess and unable to pull together. No wonder no one respects our Club

Four questions:

1. What year (or even specific date if youre good enough) did you think the RFC reach its nadir - ie what date would you nominate as our lowest state/when did we bottom out asa club. (I'd say post season 2004, prior to the board election)

2. Are Carlton in a worse state now than we were at that time: and is the worst over for them yet. (As Bad, not worse but more to come)

3. Do you think RFC have learnt from our troubled past or are we just one 'crisis' away from returning to it. (God I hope so)

4. Having nominated our lowest point (in Q1): Nominate the date we will peak next (as a club in totality, not just on-Field)
(14 October 2008: Premiers Richmond FC annount $10m profilt; offer to bail Essendon out.)

1. 2004
2. Yes (and I'm loving it)
3. Learnt but still one 'crisis' away
4. 2009/10 seems the obvious answer

Ill tell yas for free....crlton have themseives to blame.Carlton fans have themselves to blame.
Arrogant, puissant, flaminbloody knowalls and tryhards and bloody boss cockys who think that the footy world evolves around them........

They are systematic cheaters of the game over a period of time.
They are scum.Pure and simple.Pride comes before a fall.tyey thought that they were bigger than the game
Greg bloody williams was over-rated,John Nicholls was an out and out prlck, and John Elliot was the sort of bloke that used other people to make him look good. Now look at him.
I hope we keep smashin em for years to come.
