Anyone who saw Essendon today, and against the tankers can see how much they want to win.

They are streets ahead of us and Knights has them playing with great passion and belief.

A far cry from the goings on at Tigerland.

Isn't that what we all crave?

Win, lose or draw, have a bloody crack for the whole game.

Alas it is Richmond isn't it, this sort of thing hasn't been seen since the Northey days.

Great comeback from Essendon. They were clearly playing with passion today. Their run and immediate "play-on" at every opportunity approach was very exciting. A game-style completely foreign to us, and one that we can only dream of executing with our deplorable skills.

Glad to see them stick it up Eddie and those toothless maggie supporters.

And in the end it was what won them the game.

I can't recall seeing a team look so spent at the end of a game. They had nothing left. Enough to impress any impartial observer.

And the ANZAC medal was well deserved too! Ryder went up a notch. Didn't they start playing him in the ruck early, but then chose to protect him a bit. Smart move! His couple of season's down back made his work on the ball that much more exceptional.

Geez I hope Terry watched the game! Look and learn..........

Great game from Paddy. At last count, he had also laid 12 tackles. Remarkable game in the ruck from such a young player.

i remember looking over the fence last week after the siren and i couldnt see many players that were spent.

THAT IS WHY I AM ON HERE TONIGHT AND NOT AT THE DOME

If you want to be the best player you can be then you will do what it takes. You put your body on the line and do the 1%. The boy can be proud tonight with his game.

Good point Easter Rabbit....lets hope that changes tonite

it did, and they did it for cogs.....
but it shouldnt take a reason every week for it to happen

last week they should have been spent for terry, but were not

a. well done bombers - good win :clap
b. Collingwood - just aren't that good
c. Bombers will lose next week - mark my words (come down / anti adrenalin)

Wish Knights the very best (except when they play us)

Bottom line - they have admirably lifted against Blues/Pies (something we have failed to do for a long time)

However - neither team will cut the mustard in 2009.

We need to rise - and prove this very point!
