Bit harsh there, Mr C. I would have thought it was more like 7 times out of 10. JON is the one who turns it over 9 times out of 10.Tom Bosley said:He turns it over 9 times out of 10

Starting to get hard to leave blokes out. Bowden still in my best 22 for one more year. A side this young needs an old general marshalling each line i reckon. Ive got Bowden down back, Simmo in the middle and NGB up forward. I refuse to call richo old.

He ran as hard as anyone when we lost.
I'm all for diversity of opinion but you're making false assumptions when you say he's a frontrunner. I'd be happy to say he's a frontrunner and a good solid player, but he's not. He's a good solid player who runs hard no matter what the scoreboard says.
He helped get us back into at least 3 of the close games that we ended up winning. He won the ball when we had no momentum and sparked something with his run and carry.

one other thing a lot of people naming richo on a wingto me thats a spot for cotchin or edwards or even jordy mcmuffin. we lack key forwards of size far to often underdevolped kids are left double and triple teamed while the one option that can give them help is playing on the wing.
anyone notice while richo played wing edwards who is a running machine was plonked in a pocket to fit him in and he struggled this is not the future. we curb the development of a genuine mid and let our junior kpps get smashed trying to play lone hands forward.
richos role is hff no richos job description should be roaming forward starting wide on a flank.
i stand by what i say many games this yr we had just jack as the only tall playing forward and we paid the price. jack should be developed with big bodies around to help him out. jacks development should have up to this point been as a third tall floating hff.instead we ask him to do what the mature should be, i dont know about anyone else but i reckon our structure sucks i have thought this for a long while.whilst richo on a wing may have helped his game its been detrimental to to the development of others and it has not been good for structure.Tango said:hang on a minute....
the fact that richo is not in the fwd line allows our junior KPP to develop and work together (quite well towards the end of the year)
you want to stick richo back in (he just had his best year and nearly won a brownlow) and go back to kick it to richo in the fwd line
Claw you make sense in a lot of your comments but imo this has to be the dumbest and biggest backwards step that the RFC can take in a long while, and goes against all the development arguments you have pushed before

the claw said:to replace richo we need to develop 3 handy talls. by this i mean lynch hansen and staker maybe kennedy this yr. as most are wont to point out on this site nothing special about any of em but they work as a unit in a forward line that is a team. one of the complaints is while richo is there we just cant develop that unit within an overall forward team.
what juniors are being developed i only see one jack riewoldt and hes been left to shoulder the whole forward line as far as talls go. what sort of structure does that give us. i could understand richo on a wing if hughes was at ff jack at chf or a flank and we had a big body in the forward line to take the heat of the boys .RICHO_12 said:Richo is a cham;pion and still our best. FOr the betterment of the team, we stick him on the wing so we can develop our fwd line and now you want him off the wing?
Geez! He's gotta play somewhere! Personally I would leave him up the ground whilst we can and when he can trun whole games tak ehim back in the fwd line!
Swapping with Deledio works well for me!
