PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

After having seen a couple of these pre-season games, I was thinking of the players who are unlikely to get much of a run this year even though last year they featured predominantly.

What surprised me is that there were quite a few names I came up with. I had the following:
- Kane Johnson: far too many players are ahead of him now, and last night he was awful
- Richard Tambling: although I don't think he's that bad, there are too many better, like Cousins, Connors, Thompson, Polo (liked his last two games), Raines, Edwards (I'm thinking Edwards will have a big year)
- Jake King: although that's kind of expected
- Adam Pattison: I prefer Gus and I prefer Vickery
- Matthew White: although he's got grunt, his kicking isn't good enough. I do think, though, he will come in depending on injuries
- Sarge: Rance and Post look like better prospects, and Polak might even make a comeback
- Jackson: borderline like he was last year, but I think Polo and/or Thompson might take his spot (Polo looks like he's gotten the animal back from two seasons ago)

And yes, I do like Bowden and I do like Sanchez.
