Good lord, I'd forgotten what a shocker that Dackers theme song is. :o

Surely it just pips Port's for worst in the league?

A friend asked me the other day why our theme hasn't been re-recorded in a more modern style. Needless to say he's not much of a footy follower... ;)

At least they hear theirs occasionally.

I would rather a bad song which you can hear over a great one that no one ever hears.

There are only 3 decent songs in the AFL.

Ours
Bummers
Scum.

The rest are boring at best (Carlscum) and emarrassing at worst (Freo and Eagles. Can't remember the pseudo-scum's so it can't be very memorable)

Ours rocks, rest can join the happy team at hawthorn and go rot and die :cutelaugh

Hard to argue with that Tiger 74. :)

I have a bear which plays our theme song - and the button is only pressed after we win. As it's been so long now I'm worried the batteries may be flat - but I can't check it as that would be wrong.

What do I do? It would be dreadful if we actually won a game and I pressed and there was silence...

Aren't the bears singing the lions song nowadays? Better to get a tiger that sings our song as well as a new set of batteries, that way as soon as we win you will be up and ready to play our song over and over till the batteries run flat.

The eagles song makes me chuckle these days..... along the lines of "flying high"... and they keep repeating it. ;D

Most of the songs are pretty good.

Ours is the best.

I also enjoy the Sydney song with that immortal "Cmon the mighty Bloods."

Brisbane's song brings back memories of that last time we all sang the Fitzroy song.

North's song brings me back to their great days of the mid to late 70s with Arnie, Denchie & Schimma.

And of course "We're a happy team", gets the spirit up.

When the Dockers or Port win they should be forced to sing the opposition's song, because it couldn't possibly be worse than theirs.
Next time the Tigers win the toss I think they should sing the song, it'll be about the only thing we do win this season. On that has Johnson actually called it correctly at all this year?

Ms Tantie,I've got one of those bears too. Its been so long since I've pressed the belly button that I cant remember where I put the bear. Still, I feel remarkably upbeat about this season (after a period of flatlining) because the signs of a happy and prosperous future are there so......I better find that bear for next year.
