If we win 4 games or less this year, we get a PP, but it is between the first and second rounds.

Then, if we back it up next year with another 4 wins, then we get it before the first round.

This is true, the man knows his stuff. If we finish out the remaining 17 games with a 4 - 13 count we will get draft picks 1, 17 and 18* 33

if we win (or draw) a fifth game we don't get pick 18

(provided we also finish last)

*bonus pick

I thought we had to have 2years of sub-5 win seasons to get a PP these days? Please explain.

You're right. But never let the facts get in the way of a good bout of pessimism.

haha your wrong

its 4 wins or less for a pick at the end of the 1st round, never let the facts get in the way right?

* Teams receive a Priority Selection only if they finish the season with fewer than 16.5 premiership points; this way, fewer isolated poor seasons would fall into the priority category.
* If a team finishes with fewer than 16.5 premiership points in two consecutive seasons, then their Priority Selection is taken before the First Round, rather than after it; this way, consistently poor teams are still given the help that they need.

i want to see us play the younger players in important roles the likes JR and hughes to play FF of CHF, lids foley and raines on the ball and players like meyer to play and get experience

I wanna beat Ess, Coll, Carlton next time we meet.
And I don't care which 22 players help us do it.

And yeh - beating the saints would be nice for a change.

get real mate

the eagles game had more positives for the future then last years late cheap wins against carlton and essendon

it does matter which players do it and saturday was a big step

FOR 2007

a priority pick used wisely
Krak , Gas , Tivers, Bowden , Richo , Hall , being phased out and moved on
Tambling to play a starring roll rather than his current cameo appearances
Lids to star in the midfield

I stand corrected. But it's no longer the same way that we got Lids and Bling in the same round.

I hope RFC look at asking an umpire to nominate for the 2007 draft & draft him. Slot him into the team irrespective of any skill level.
Hopefully then those maggots might look at RFC in a different light & start rewarding the free kicks that are due to us. 8)
it worked for west coast theyve got a couple playing for them and they pay them in crack

eagles theme song:

we're the umpires
the west coast umpires
and we're here
to pay them frees
we're the umpires
the west coast umpires
and we help
them willingly.

I sang this song all the way to richmond station after the game
