This is still a worry

relevance? I'm sure we all know some shady characters. The guys is trying to make a fresh start - let it go dude
relevance- it would be easy to let go if cousins publicly denounced the how shall we say the business practices of his good mate john kizon. sheesh a real display of faith would be giving police information into kizon. on that one i can understand why he doesnt bens likely to wear concrete shoes if he does or something nasty may happen to his family.
bens so called mates are nasty people yet he hangs out with them and defends them.

Just guessing:-

1. Collingwood. Their "soft as butter" policies on off-field player behaviour in recent years has caused them no end of angst. When the crunch came and a decision had to be made they did not have the guts to take Cousins. Also he would have taken too much of the limelight from Fat Boy Fat.

2. St Kilda. Premiership window has been at high noon for a couple of seasons now. They picked up mature recruits last year in the hope of jagging a flag yet still missed. Main reason probably Board instability over last couple of years and too scared of possible further negative publicity.

3. Lions. Voss wanted him. Browny said no. Debut coach too inexperienced to handle the delicate task of assimilating Cousins into a club still on the slide and with financial woes. Too risky.

Thanks for the feedback on this allergic rhinitis, much appreciated. All reasonable sense to me!

There was a pic in the Sun of Carlton's Nick Stevens at a boxing match with Mick Gatto and others fom the Carlton Crew who have records, so its not just Benny that has these associations....footballers for years have had shady friends as associates.....relax, relax...

The last criminal she would have arrested would have been the Hamburglar from McDonalds
With the size of her arse ( yes it looks big in everything she wears) she didn't arrest Hamburglar. She starved him to death by getting to all the McChewn's before him.

I'm not overly worried that Cuz hangs out with some of societies best nefarious characters. Footy players attract them like blowies round a steaming nugget. Once you get them hanging round you can only get rid of them by eradicating them.
What concerns me far more is his response to the question " How long have you been clean for?"
He didn't wish to go there, not relevant, he's currently clean.
What? Been clean for one week, one month, six months.

I’m actually more worried about his hammies than his mates

Same for me,

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of how he should be viewed ,

For me, he comes with a clean slate , what has happened has happened, its now history, and his time with us starts now.
