Now let me say up front I don't to many Tiger games due to "domestic" situation but going to the game tonight was what going to the footy is all about.
Meeting up with mates at the Cricketers for pre game beers.
Standing behind the goals at the Punt rd end.
More beers.
Yelling abuse at Collingwood duds.
More beers.
Yelling abuse at Richmond duds (sorry!)
Winning a game in a season where winning has been avoided like the plague.
Seeing the players (especially Kane Johnson) come down to the Punt rd end and rev the supporters up and say thanks.
Singing the theme song (where was the bloody PA tonight?) with a thousand other Tiger fans in the bowels of the Southern stand as the rest of the ground is empty.
Moving on to the social club for more grog.
Catching the train home and falling asleep.
I don't whether the fact that we've only won 1 other game this season makes a win like this all the more special but it certainly was everything that makes going to the footy so special.
