Sometimes grand finals seem like the impossible dream but every season I believe it's going to be our year.  Don't have a very good strike rate.  ;D

It might be my lot in life never to attend a grand final.  I've got no confidence at all that I'd get a ticket if we finally got there.   The method they have makes it hard for country people.  The limited tickets available make it hard for any common variety supporter.

Think I should start saving to pay a scalper.....if they still operate.

I'm glad this thread was brought up by someone else.
I've been pondering over this for some time, and the thought of a football score never sprang to mind...
Its a good name after all!

Dont change your name to the Deeez 88 effort Interested :-\

Least you can say you have seen your team in two Grannies in the last 18 years and more finals series appearances, which is more than we can say sadly :( ;)

Most Carlton and Collywobble fans know the 1970 G/F Score by heart.

I work for the man who came on in the second half and tore Collingwood apart (as did the rest of the Carlton team). Stand up Mr. Ted Hopkins! He occassionally tells football stories from the past, but he's done so much more in life than play football and it probably annoys him to think that the 1970 GF is what he's known for.

As much as football is near and dear to our hearts, life is much greater than that. But try stop me if the Tiges make it to the Grand Final!!!
