tuck  coughlan and foley are what i term extractors. they are very good at getting their hands on the ball first at stoppages. their greatest weakness is their kicking they all lack depth...

Tuck would be in the top-10 longest kicking midfielders in the league Clawthorn...Coughlan and Foley do lack penetration, but not Tuck. Properly balanced, injury free and not scrambling his kick, he can regularly kick a 55-60m drop punt.
yeah correct my mistake he can give the ball a roost its just that he doesnt hit to many targets and misses lots of easy shots at goal.coughlans kicking is poor all round foley tends to hit targets most of the time but does lack depth.

Tuck has suffered pretty heavily with soreness this year, I think he'll improve on hitting targets as his body gradually gets adjusted to coping with being pummeled week in week out.

Some of his kicking last week was encouraging considering how late in the season it is, especially that beautifully weighted pass with his left foot which hit Richo lace out on the lead. But you're right, over all he's not yet doing enough with his delivery to be considered amongst the best midfielders - regardless of the possession tallies he's racking up.

I think its important that we do pick up an AFL experienced player, along with 5 picks in the ND and then 4 more in the rookie draft. I think Polak would be perfect, and may come cheap too. Would certainly be better with a change of scenery, and would help out a lot in defence.
