Mark Thompson the loser is a whinging pr!ck

He's picked up sheedy's traits along the way.
Funny, Choco Williams also shares that same trait - another Sheedy pupil. Geez, it's good having Plough at the helm.

Dont think Chocco would be shootin his mouth off too much now, and bet he'd be looking over his shoulder at one Alan SCott as well :hihi

MR SCOTT geeeeeeeeeeez i apologise for being a twit.

Bomber thompson eh?pride comes before a fall and his is gonna be a big one....so low that he,ll dissappear into the deep dark jungles of Borneo where he,ll study voodoo, marital artistry of the mekong and then engage in 12 century nitrology.....And he,ll come to me offering 2 million bucks a lesson, pleading with me to be a lamp unto his feet and a light on his miserably dark path....and ...Ill say....Bomer thompson...go and get stuffed...you miscreant.......You can have 1 lousy win on the telstra dome turf for 1 day,but against the might of Richmond....there is no victory.........

I must say, I made it back from the Cattery in tiem to catch the 2nd half of Essendon's disgrace on Sat night and I thought Choco was quite gracious towards Sheedy when asked about him in the post match interview.

For the first time ever I was actually impressed with him.

My hatred foir the cats outweighs like no other in the AFL.Yes i was brought up to despise the Pies & Blues but at least i have a bit of respect for them in regards to their history etc.The cats on the other hand i have absolute no respect for.

It helps when you have won by 10 goals & also when Sheedy gave him the chance to get into coaching.

Is this the same Mark Thompson who didn't speak to his players after the game. Said he wanted to get home to watch the replay. What was that...Mark.....you didn't know what happened and your supposed to be the coach. :rofl

"Mark Thompson the winner is a smug b@stard"
"Choco shares the same traits"

That was what I was responding too...

Might have a different view once he watched the game again.

Nitro,

Needles and pins :hihi

Bomber Thompson is under the pump at the moment and rightfully so.

However he (and many other coaches) are careful not to say anything about oppositions sides. I actually think Bomber is one of the few coaches who answers the questions posed to him by the journo's.

The journo's can 'smell a kill' down at Geelong, hence their questioning of him and his team.

I reckon we can lay off Bomber. Who cares about him.

Mind you, we should give it with both barrels to Donut. Both barrels.............ALL OF YOU!

Probaby the least dangerous of all the coaches going around at the moment, with the possible exception of Alistair "If it all works like I planned it, we'll be good some time after they sack me" Clarkson.

He is the same as the rest of his Essendon mates like Watson, Williams and Shaw have been before him: arrogant to a ridiculous degree, petulant whenever things go wrong and a try-hard Sheedy imitator.

The difference between Sheeds and his disciples is that Sheedy learnt from the source, from Hafey and Graeme Richmond and grew up in the school of hard knocks. His try-hards have played for a blue-blood club with pots of money and had playing success given to them by the efforts of one man who transformed the whole place, from the bootstudders up. Apart from Sheedy, no-one at Essendon understands the mentality that won five premierships at Richmond and four more at Essendon over a forty year period. When Sheedy leaves, that mentality will go with him.

Bomber Thompson and Geelong don't even know that it exists.

Can't believe some comments - this one though is of a reasonable mind ;)

Revenge is sweet and needs no further comment, for the deeds have already spoken!

Lovely work there Gussyboy nice word play :hihi :hihi

Bomber Thomson makes Malthouse look gracious.

Who could forget his lame petulance on the topic of Ottens last year? Went on like a nine year old schoolgirl left in charge of the class. Why doesn't he replay that one now?

Bomber made a huge play for Jade Rawlings (A Boy Named Sue, gone horribly wrong) in 2003. When he failed there he went after Brad Ottens in 2004. Now, why do you suppose he was so defensive about the Doughnut? Lucky they've already got Kent Kingsley otherwise Mark would make him his next target.

For many years coach Bomber made a reputation for himself as an excuse machine. It worried me a lot at the time but they kept improving. A few years on, the entire team is a machine for making excuses. Who is to blame for that?

Richmond flogged Geelong on the weekend. But for a great many (entirely forgivable) defensive errors by inexperienced Tiger defenders and mids, Geelong might have been done by seven or eight goals. But Bomber refuses to face facts and trots out his trademark petulant excuse list- poor kicking. In truth, the Cats had pulled hard goals out of their arses with monotonous regularity earlier in the game and were due to run out of luck with flying right foot shots from the arc on the left footers' side.

Honesty is central to controlled improvement. In the end, Bomber's was a poor excuse for coaching.
