Having been to most of the games this year, there are three major problems, IMO, that need to be addressed in '06.
1. The team get as many possessions as the opposition, but the delivery to a team mate leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure how this skill level can be improved. It's one thing to get hands on the ball, but another to consistently give it off to a team mate. It was not just the older players who fit this category either.
2. Richo, week in and week out is tagged unmercifully, and of course, the ball is going to go to ground on many occasions. Unlike the better teams, we seldom seem to have a crumber to take advantage of the spill. Just have a look at that little so and so, Milne, last night. Pettifer has not been all that bad, but would think players like Krakouer would have to fill that role next year.
3. Too often, in too many game, were the opposition given too much latitude. On their own, and allowed to take their time to deliver the ball to advantage. Would think in '06 we would have to man up more, and be more competitive and accountable.
Given the above, we still did not have that bad a year, and provided we can have some youngsters improve next year, then 2006 should see some furthewr improvement.
The above comments are not supposed to be criticism, per se, but hopefully, an insight into what needs to be done next year.
