I thought it was interesting to read how many people supported the introduction of the 3 point rushed behind rule for the NAB Cup.

Personally I'd be loathe to make any changes to a scoring system that's been in place for so long but I do see some merit in punishing the defending team for rushing the cheap point.
Unfortunately this 3 point idea has probably become more of an issue due to the chain reaction of another rule change being that of the quick kick in. Now the rushed behind has become somewhat of a strategic weapon for a defence in mounting a counter attack and coast to coasting it for an attack on their own goals.
Gotta love the rules committee...
If it's to change at all I'd probably go for one behind and a bounce at the 25m 'hotspot'.
I think it would stamp out rushed behinds pretty quickly.
