My daughter is travelling from QLD to Melb to go to the game next Sat night with her friend (who has never been to a game of footy before) and was wondering where she can get tickets from. Can anyone help?

Thanks Checkside - I'm sure my daughter's friend will love the game and the Tigers will gain another supporter!

Not a problem.
My little cousin is coming over for his first AFL game so hopefully we get a big win :)

What time does it all start this Saturday night? My computer doesn't like the afl site - takes forever to download and often doesn't download completely so I dont visit it anymore. Grateful if someone could let me know what time the pre-match festivities start.

Go Toigs!

Go Toigs!

Game commences at 7.45 with pre-match entertainment about half an hour before then. Don't know why you'd bother with the pre-match stuff. It's been crap every year and I see no reason why this would be any different.

The MCG website has a crowd estimate of 60,000.

Are the public able to buy tickets at the gate?

I was planning on buying 4-5 general admin tickets at about 5pm.

Tanners you can buy tickets at the Gate, no probs....Good idea getting there early if u want good seats...

Im expecting too about 60,000, last year when we were 0-8, the crowd was about 62,000

I've been trying to reserve two seats through the Ticketmaster web site. :(

You'll need to get in early boys and girls.

The best I could get was row Q on Level 4 of the Southern Stand. If you try for any other areas they are not available. The same thing happened in the round 21 game vs Ess last year.

Sets are released by ticket shafter or whoever at their own discretion, once a bay or section fills they release the next lot of seats, or so I believe
