Tickets for the finals.

MCC have at least half their seats set aside for walk up. Also I reckon a lot of boxes and other elite seating won't be filled for a mere QF.

Yep, that’s me.
Don’t know why people bother with online ticketing.
Just walk up on the day.

We got tickets on Wednesday, best we could get was on level 4. And they sell Level 1 a day later?

Why? There has to be a better way and they should damned well find it before our next game.

how come the AFL says tickets are sold out, and they expect 90,000.

why isnt a sell out 100,0021?

Another heads up their is no allocated bays for tiger or hawks members (they are all mixed) except the cheer squads. this was just told to me by the membership dept. AFL/MCC have tried something different this time around and also stated that the next final could be separated in to each clubs supporters, why do they have to keep messing around with things.

so does that mean there aren't any figures in terms of how many Richmond fans are going compared to the Wee's and Poo's?

Pretty sure its only one ticket person required, not one ticket per head.

This is a very underrated and underappreciated reply. :hihi

What's with the bollocks I read just now about the game being declared a sell out with the crowd estimate at "more than 90,000" people?

My maths tells me that for a 100,000 seat venue a sell out means a crowd of, well, 100,000 (give or take a few MCC seats).

Every year we hear bleating and duck shoving from what is proving to be a pretty useless triumvirate of the MCG, AFL and Ticketek.

It's time for an independent ticket commission to be installed to cut through the self interest.

And while I'm at it, who knew that booking tickets online would be such a soul destroying process?

I'd write to complain but they'd probably charge me $7.95 for a response.

Bought corporate tix from the club for fear of missing out. Paid big overs and then only thing that makes me not blow up is that the overs are going to the Tigers, not the AFL and certainly not Ticketspac.

Ridiculous how that works, so next time wait a day to get better seats & guess what , will be all sold out

How can they say allocation exhausted for the good seats 10 min after going on sale only to be available the next day >:(

Is it cause all the AFL members that don't turn up ?

Lol FT AFL members is already sold out. The reserve sells out in big games more times than not. I think u mean MCC reserve but that too i reckon will go close to sold out.

so 'best available' is actually 'the most economically advantageous seat for us, to sell you right now'

*smile*.

I guess so but our crowd noise like always will dwarf the minnows.

Some one has to tel the AFL, MCC and Ticketek. Their system is flawed and doesn't help the people who get in first.

No matter what deals the MCG has with Ticketek they should rip them up. They only have one thing to do sell tickets and they can't do that. If necessary the AFL should step in.

Got 4 tickets, but teacher daughter has a class concert and can't go to Rich V Hawks

So I have got 1 spare ticket

Cat 2
Ponsford stand
M30
LL (under cover)

cost price $82

Can email ticket.

No idea how this works otherwise.

****Sold to a very happy Tiger supporter ******

great timing...just got my "Hey we really value your opinion" survey from the AFL in my in box.

Amidst my bile soaked well balanced and fair critique of all things AFL, there will be a small comment that you idiots picked the wrong week to ask "hey, how are we doing?"

Got it in on, easy. AFL , MCC, Ticketick don't give a stuff about the punter. It's always only ever been about how far they can bend us over n how much we'll pay for the privilege. The howls of outrage are simply a bonus for them.

People on Ebay selling these tickets for 5 times their worth should be hung drawn and quartered.

Level 4 Nosebleeds for $150................
