Thought they changed the rules this year to cover all the premium events. Not permitted to mark up prices by more than 10% of face value. Or did the Govt just waffle n pretend to promise to legislate one day sometime soon again.

Has been ads in paper for a few weeks now, haven't read them closely but I think it's all finals. But who is it that enforces the rule...police, consumer affairs, ?

I think I read that somewhere too. there are probably loop holes people can take advantage of (ie. sell tickets at 10% above face value then throw in a Footy Record for $100)

They can sell at their own risk! Their are many contacting the AFL including myself Who are fed up with these parasites trying to make a profit from ordinary fans!!!

Thank you for your email. Our ticketing department have dedicated staff who look at all ticketing on selling on sites such as Ebay, gumtree etc throughout finals. They will cancel tickets/memberships in all cases possible.

I’m just looking at tickets for the NBA, NFL and NHL through stubhub, which is a legal resale site, some of these tickets are from season pass holders others are just individually sold, I think I’m right saying that most are no more then $50 when originally purchased, other then season passes of course, however minimum prices for the events we are going to start at $6 for a NHL game and a Lakers game starts at $270 . It’s also similar with Concerts , seeing Slash was $40 the other week, yet Springsteen on Broadway was $1000, definitely good an bad with it.
 
Not going Thursday night but planning to fly across for our next final. How does ticketed allocate best available seating when days later better seats are available.
Are there any tips or is it purely down to luck and ticketeks ineptitude

I bought a few tickets at 2pm yesterday simply to help out other tigers who missed out. I have mine already.
I have 3 left and If anyone is interested please PM 'selling at face value" tickets are $82 each (Level 1 Undercover).

No tips whatsover with the sham that is ticketek.

Last week after the Tuesday debarcle, I managed to get great seats 3 hours after they went on sale. And I sat there for 3 hours clicking clicking clicking.

Pot luck - only real advice is if you want 8 tickets for a big group - break it down.
 
Is anyone going to be standing tonight who actually has seats?

A friend is bringing her young daughter down for the game and just realised she has standing room tickets.

I thought if anyone has seats their not using I could just tell her the location of two vacant seats.
 
Is anyone after tickets for tonight? 2 seats lever 3 somewhere. $130 for both which is what I payed. Would need to be picked up in Bayswater/Rowville though.

We've had a person drop out for tonight

It is a Category A ticket in Olympic Stand Ground level SM55-1 Row HH seats 15 - 19.

This seat will be 15, unless you wantto sit smack bang in the middle of my clan.

Ticket price is face value $93

If you're worried about being scammed, i'm happy to hand the ticket over in person and enter the ground with you so long as i'm not missing the start of the game.
