Seems like a no brainer if the clubs agree. ...

WC have to fly in to play..... ;)

Cornes, I can hear him now.... "This is another gift to Richmond"

Would suit us. Even though Nank will miss, they'll be without Shuey, Kelly, McGovern and possibly a few more.

I think the WA government have said the players that weren't there before the lock down began in Melbourne would be confined to the hotel other than when training. That would make it a pretty long week over there for the guys.

Yeah... think you might be right there. ..... hopefully they can see what Richmond in town for a week will do to lift the spirits of the down trodden, and let us loose in the community!

Think if it goes ahead it will be a Thursday night game so our team can get the eff outta there asap and get home.

This would be a total of 2 weeks away from when the team first went to Sydney.

no chance, that would only give the Druggies 1.0 about 4 days after they play the brown paper baggers this Sunday

So true
They’re on one leg the eagles
It would be a big 4 points away and would counter balance our Sydney loss

Yep, I saw things the other way but it definitely suits us now. And they have to fly back from somewhere right... Sydney?

yeah I reckon they would run it on the Saturday as the early game - neither of the teams scheduled for Thursday (port v cats) or Friday (Sydney v Hawks) would agree to give up their time slots.

Given the Eagles play Carlton this Sunday, it would be a big ask for them to play us on the Thursday or even Friday for that matter.

Its a big ask of the Eagles, they need the bye more than us.

I think the sooner we play them the better - they are injury ravaged atm!

the only realistic timeslot is 4:40pm sunday.

Freo v Gold Coast Sunday 4:15pm.

Matt Parker must be rubbing his hands with glee. Gets a gig with back to back premiers, joins his mate Marlion, gets to remain home for 2 weeks minimum before he heads off finishing the remainder of the season potentially within a premiership side

Reckon we should be lobbying hard for this. We're already in Perth and the Eagles are vulnerable. Based on that the AFL will probably demur.
