I was rapt to read that Matty White won the Rd 9 AFL Army Award nomination for his run down tackle on Brett Stanton. Lids won the award a couple of years ago. Can anyone remember what he was originally nominated for? Which other Tigers have been nominated and what for?

Thought it was last season? It was at the dome wasn't it? Running with his eyes only for the football with a stkilda player coming the other way?

Maybe I'm wrong.....
 
Yeah pretty sure it was last year...Lids running backwards keeping his eyes on the ball and taking a gutsy mark as he got barrelled from behind on the defensive 50m line by a Saints forward.

I remember voting for Lids that week for the Army award
 
I think Richo got nominated (but didn't win) for the game against essendon where he wore the phantom of the opera mask as well.
