PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum
I was talking to RFC this morning and during December there is going to be a Giving Tree for the Tigers in the Community Foundation.
Details will be sent out in the Jungle Beat but for those who don't subscribe to it the gist is that one of the charities the group supports have lunch at Punt Road on Christmas Day and the presents will be given to them.
There are all ages, adults, kids, male and female and the suggestion is the gift should cost no more than $15.
I usually put gifts on a tree in Myer, Target or K-Mart etc but will support our own this year and decided to post here inviting others to do the same. It would be nice for PREnders to support the initiative if they can afford it.
If anyone, like me, doesn't get to Punt Road to put the gifts under the tree I'm happy to collect money from PREnders who'd like to contribute and buy the presents and send down after discussion with the club on which ages could do with the help. Please PM me if interested.
Seeing the PRE Punters Club has generously contributed to costs this year I'll use some of that money to buy some pressies from PRE and hopefully help put a smile on some faces on Christmas Day.
