I know you are only joking pharace but perhaps there's an element of truth to that.

The word was they wouldn't just hire someone if they weren't appropriate for the position..

Well in my mind there's no shortage of suitable candidates in the wake of so many high profile retirements. I mean it's not as if our coaching staff can't do with the help.

However if they see a coach as a dead man walking they might be a little reticent to take the job.
