Anyone check out the Hun this morning?

The Tigers have been given a bit of a boxing lesson at Punt Road, by IBF Middleweight Champ Sam Soliman.  Apparently it shows photos of the boys, with young Tommy having strawberry running down his nose, and says that young Andrew 'The shuffler' Krakouer had his head gear turned around his head and could not see.

I see TW is trying to instill a bit of mongrel in them!

about time the boys get that mongel back into them.

One weak point I think, is we can be soft. harden them up, make them feared.

would have been good to see. sam packs a mean punch and should have won in the US last month and probably beat mundine. 2 very suspect decisions

I am becoming a fan of Tommy Roach's endeavour at training. He seems to be setting himself for a big year after a good debut in 2004 and a dose of the second year blus in 2005.

He seems to be busting a gut to make the grade and we really need a good tagger. To see him with some claret dripping our of the eye meant he was having a real dip. Being a private school boy he probably hasn't been in a boxing ring too often.

Just to gladden the hearts of all the Pettifer fans out there, they said that the only one to put Sam on his backside was Kayne. Admittedly it was with a push and not a punch, but it may give him a bit of confidence on the physical side of things.

Apparently Petts has 'beefed up' even further this year CTT, and might be given a new part-time role in the middle this year.

As for the push that moved the mountain, as they say, nothing is impossible.

Yes probably used his longer reach to push him over so Sammy couldnt  reach him as he didnt want to get a smack  8) becoz he is SOFT.

But in the case of getting in a boxing ring with Soliman i wont go him too hard but at least Rains, DRod, McGuane, Schulz, Tommy and others had the cruets to wear a punch. :hihi

Close Craig, but some guys were not allowed in the ring with Soliman, no matter how much they wanted to, and some that didn't want to had to.

Only stirring Rimau as Petts is a very easy target on this site and also is sure to fire up some controversy. :hihi :hihi :hihi, Hats off to all of em cos i wouldnt do it ;)
