Tigers premiership due in 2009....... it's in the numbers

Hayfever

Tiger Champion
Apr 12, 2005
4,701
98
2005 Premiership won by Swans after 72 year drought.
2006 Preseason Premiership won by Cats after 43 year drought

72 - 43 = 29

29 is the most successful Tiger's player number....... most games(403), equal most premierships(5, same as Francis Bourke), 2nd most best and fairest's(5, behind Captain Blood's 6) and 2nd most goals(778, behind Jack Titus's 970).

Our last premiership(1980) plus 29 = 2009  :cupgold

I'm not interested in arguing about KB's recent relationship with RFC. What I know is he is a Tiger's champion and legend.
In order for our "destiny" to be fulfilled by winning the flag again in 2009 I believe it is vitally important by then for the number 29 jersey to be in play again(on the back of another young champion) and for KB to "return to the fold". There must once again be peace in the Tiger jungle!!!!

Great news Mr Sneeze,I'II ring up TAB sportsbet & put the money on now.
you'll have to wait another 3 years to see if you win, and don't forget inflation................could be good money.

As long as the equation is falling into place then we're on the right track.

I wonder if I can use some sort equation on the number of eggs my chickens have laid over the 2003, 2004, & 2005 seasons, and see if I can come up with a prediction.

we'd get pretty good odds wouldn't be? 2009 has been my prediction for our next flag since tw signed on the dotted line...

you have to consider the other numerical factor as well...

1910's - 0 flags
1920's - 2 flags
1930's - 2 flags
1940's - 1 flag
1950's - 0 flags
1960's - 2 flags
1970's - 2 flags
1980's - 1 flag
1990's - 0 flags
2000's - ?? going by the pattern we should win 2 flags before the decade is out (not to mention the christian name of our last 3 premiership coaches started with the letter "T")

That means we have to win 2 flags in the next four years to continue this pattern.

I'd be happy with one!!
