Well as i live about 10 or so mins away from Craigieburn/Highlands and receive the local magazines such as the Leader newspaper, Hume weekly and Star magazine as part of the Hume municipal, for those who dont live nearby nor receive the local papers im happy to pass on to everyone that this week the tigers dominated all 3 magazines after the community camp...

Check out the articles below...

First Article is the front page of the Hume leader; Jayden Post
Then in the inner pages of the Hume Leader their is a big story "Tigers Tread New Turf" the story was to big to scan so ul see it in 2 parts the top half of the story shows some of the boys on the new ground and then below it is the bottom half of it with actual write up...

Then theirs the Hume Weekly, titled....Tigers Pride of the North and the last article is from the Star magazine...Top Tiger tips in

Appreciate the effort AT (my old "Vanderbilt" eyes are struggling though ;D )
Hopefully this sort of promotion and pr (was gonna say exposure) will pay off with a new supporter base, especially in a fast growing area. Hope plenty of the young kids get on board.
Bloody well done to the club for taking this initiative. Together with the new facilities can only be a huge positive for the future.

I am on a Mac and if I "control" and click, it allows you to view image and the text is legible. :)

Thanks for the tip Feisty. I've got a Mac, still learning how to use it. Worked well.

thanx to HellsTiger, marsinvenus, willo, feisty tige, mexican_radio, Tigers of Old, Phantom, benny_furs etc happy to provide the stories for everyone when i see them in the local mags....For those who want to read the stories, benny_furs good idea mate, simply copy the picture and then paste into your documents or your pictures on your PC then double click on the picture and ul be able to read the whole story no problems as it expands in full....

You know its just tremendous what the club will be able to do in the Craigieburn area, i live close to melbourne airport so only 10 or so mins away but the stories for the club keep coming in, this whole area of Craigieburn is quite massive and only going to get bigger with the highlands area in the next 5 to 10 years having upwards of 20,000 new residents going to live there, this will in time provide the club with NEW supporters i would say in the thousands, its long term and when the club starts training there from next month just think of the little kids going to watch them train and saying to dad "tigers tigers" u wont get em all but we'll capture many new supporters from this initiative....

This is more like it.these are the newspaper stories that we like to read. Not written by Damian Barrett thats for sure.

just happy that the tiges have stitched up this northern side of the city very suprised the bombers didnt think of this but must say Richmond had the inside running as the mayor of hume at that time "maybe still is in charge" contacted the club being a tigers supporter he informed them what plan they had in place with the stockland group to develope the highlands area of Craigieburn and it just snow balled from there....

We've tapped into one of the fastest growing areas in melbourne and we'll reap the rewards as the years go on...
