Tigers should target Prismall if they want to trade for players.

All the talk re Warnock who is still raw and somewhat unproven being the Tigers #1 trade target is understandable considering the diabolical ruck stocks at this club, but im also all for trying to get a quality classy ball winning distributer such as Prismall from the Cats, who would slot straight into the pivot for the toothless tiggies and is being starved of opportunities at PussyPark

Structure demands we need both but realistically only 1 would be obtainable if at all either.

Cant see the Cats letting him go tho, and unfortunately i can Miller giving away all our picks.
 
i agree craig, i mentioned this during the pre season when he was getting a game evry week and racking up 30+ possies a game! but yes i carnt see geelong letting him go. not sure about his contract situation ,maybee if hes out of contract and we get in his ear?

While we're at the Cats, let's also get Davenport. This kid's got the ability to be another Akermanis.
 
Prismall most certainly would address a need long term............................ what was i thinking.
 
How old is he?

If he isn't good enough to play in Geelong's 22, and doesn't show reasonable upside, then how will he fit into our 22 when we're aiming for Grand Finals?

In 2008 Prismall is not a player with enough talent to play in a Grand Final, that is my twist on it.
 
Come on Craig he was the most common player talked about last trade week due to his lack of opertunities.......bit slow there in the dark ;)

Lets be honest though,we only have 2-3 players with enough talent to play in a grand final.How many of our players would get a game at Geelong ? We dont have 5-6 All Aust mids to keep him out of the side.

So you would be happy to top up with players who will never play in a Grand FInal?

That is what your post implies.

I am not suggesting Prismall will never be good enought o play in a GF - but the point it, if someone is not good enough to get a game with a top 4 team then we should not target them unless they have upside (like Polak and Morton who could potentially improve, whereas Kingsley never could).

We can't keep bringing in players who won't win us premierships. Being slightly better than some of our current players is not a genuine recipe for success.
 
We shouldn't be looking at any recycled players. We should be offloading whatever we can and tallying up a truckload of draft picks. (Which we should also have done last year) And then hope like hell that Jackson and Cameron get it right.

Ive always been a fan of Davenport. Torquay lad, great bloke!

He actually said to me earlier in the year that he wouldnt mind a fresh start, its just harder than you think with contracts/trades ect.

Trust me if we made the right deal avaliable we would get him.

It's always going to be difficult for Geelong 2nds players to get into the 1sts, so if this club of ours have any brains, they can start talking to this kid.

His promise was we wouldn't trade away our first round pick for a player.

The closest we got for this was when we downgraded for Polak.

We all know about your vendetta against wallace and miller tigerforce. It's in pretty much every single one of your posts. Time to come up with some fresh material.
 
We wouldnt have to trade a first rounder for Prismall/Davenport

Jason D is about 23 if im correct and still hasnt broken into the Geelong team once.
