I don't think I have ever attended a match at the Dome so I'm looking for any pointers for the Rd 11 match. When to book, where to book, where to sit etc.

It's one of the few times I'll be in Melbourne during the season while a match is on. My last 3 trips had the Tiges playing interstate.

if it's anything like the last game against the Dogs, best to sit in a nice chalet at Mt Buller, fireplace going, glass of nice Shiraz....

If we keep playing as we have in the first few weeks book a weekend elsewhere ;D.
Doubt you would need to pre-book for this one.
Should be plenty of spare seats available on all levels. If you insist on paying a premium get somewhere along the wings on level one.

If it's a windy day like Saturday night make sure you keep a eye out for bouncing recycle bins and flying restaurant umberellas.

Cheers guys. I get to see a live match about once every 5 or so years so paying a premium isn't a problem. Just wondering whather to bring a ADHD suffering 2yo to his forst game of footy or not. I guess the worst that can happen is that he jumps onto the field and shows some of our players what not stop gut running is all about.

Just drop him over the fence mate and let him roam. It would probably be the safest place at the dome.

Dogs V Tigers = zero collisions.

It'll work in our back half. In our forward 50 people will mistake him for nahas

Good luck mate....I too am going to my first live Tiger match in almost 5 years and it will also be the round 11 clash against the Dogs. Will be in toen for the first state of origin mathc on the wednesday nite then the Tiges on fri nite.

Was a bit wary about it after the first four rounds but getting pumped again now.

Re tickets I too have the same queries as it is our only friday nite match for the year....r people sure we wont need to book early...and also what r the premium tickets at Etihad.

I reckon I'd be booking tickets as soon as they go on sale.
The last Doggies Richmond game there in Round 3 there was about 41,000 there and it was the Doggies home game.
There's no real bad places to watch at Etihad.
Aisle 13 is the wing on the southern side and aisle 36 is wing on the city side.
If you hang out a bit you'll find tickets on eBay for the Medallion club if you really want to treat yourself. They're on level 2 which is prime viewing.

Medallion club tickets sounds great. What is the story with them, why r they on ebay and is it safe to buy them.???

Thanks heaps P09.

My suggestion is find a baby sitter so you can actually watch the game because guaranteed junior bear won't.

Yeah they're safe.
Medallion Club ticket holders get "transferable rights" with their tickets. For about $5,000 a year you'd wanna.
Most people that buy Medallion Club are businesses that use them to give to clients to go to games.
A way some people recoup some money is selling off tickets when they don't go.
Just check their feedback on eBay to make sure all's above board but it's ok for them to do it.
I don't know if you'll have a car but a free parking ticket to park underneath the ground is sometimes thrown in. They're $27.00 alone.

Jump on eBay and have a look what's on there now. I doubt there'd be any for that game but I'll bet there's plenty of other games up for grabs.
If you do your home work you can find out which ones have the tvs in the armrest ;)

Thanks P09.

Go easy with that advice about TV in armrest. You may b having old country me on but I would be just as likely to spend the whole game looking at my armrest. ;D ;D

No Roycey, I'm not taking the mickey.
There are monitors in some armrests. Not sure which ones though.
I know aisle 14 have some
