Tigers v Swan.

Of course they count. They sent it inside 50 about the same amount as say Adcock and Drummond or Sewell and Mitchell. These guys are probably roughly equal, Deledio maybe in front but also more likely to be shooting at goal as passing it off.

The point of the comparison was that all these players have a large chunk of their team's inside 50's and clearly there are 2 combinations that are far more desirable than the 3rd.

Are the three guys you mentioned from our team the inside 50m leaders are they?

Actually Pettifer led the inside 50's. Tivendale 2nd and Tuck 3rd. Johnson was 9th but still sent it in slightly more often than Deledio.

my main beef with richo is that he is really a half fwd flanker and a bloody good one, that position suits his style, presenting up the ground and sending it inside 50

yet we have played him as THE key fwd at the expense of developing someone else, this has placed more pressure on his kicking skills which are not the greatest, but worst of all is his footy smarts and knowing when to lead (not too early), where to lead (not too wide) and how to create space by blocking for his team mates, the other thing that i would like to see it let someone else fly the ball if they are in a better position and shepherd for them or get ready to chase the rebound?

so yes the RFc is to blame for playing him out of position and not developing someone else along the way

but richos skill level (kicking in general play, handballing and decision making) has not improved over his career

this i believe would have had to change if he was at a stronger club

Claw is that richo's fault that we've recruited terribly for so long....he could kick a 1000 goals and i dont think the players around him would've got us there,
Lets all share in the recruting nous that was the RFC...Ross funcke, Steven Sziller, the pickerings, the bowers, Damien Ryan, Stuart Wigney, Mark McQueen, Ben Moore, Pat Steinfort, Matthew Manfield, Steven McKee, Jason Baldwin, Daniel Donati, Brett Evans, Lionel Proctor, Paul Greenham, Marc Dragicevic, Ray Hall, Clay Sampson, Stephen Jurica, Aaron Fiora, Ezra Poyas, Scott Homewood, Andrew Mills, Andrew Krakouer, Steven Sziller, Adam Houlihan, Martin McGrath, Bill Nicholls, Daniel Sipthorp, Ben Marsh, Alex Gilmour, Thomas Roach, Shane Morrison, Kyle Archibald, Trent Knobel, luke weller, justin plapp, dragasevic, blumfield, hilton, etc etc etc

Can anyone seriously say that even if we had ablett, lockett, carey or Lloyd that we would be regular finals contenders with that line up of players over the last 15 yrs...surely not :help
I don't think MICHAEL PICKERING deserves to be on your list.4 top 4 finishes in the B+F is good enough in my book.
