Tigers Versus Carlton

Im a lttle unsettled about the blues forwards line......... If Livingston plays they can move whitnall forward and they have the potential to set up like this:

Fisher Waite Lappin
Whitnall Fevola Betts

.... with Kouta, Houlihan and Deluca all being rotated through.

Thats a worry.

I agree their forward line is a worry IF they get use of the ball.

The centre clearance will be all important in this game. The midfield has to be more accountable than in previous weeks because this is where it will be lost or won.

We have to beat them in the rucks, significantly.
This is why I have a feeling Knobel might get the call up.
Wallace would have looked at this game and seen the ruck as Carlton's weakness. Simmonds & Knobel to rotate in the ruck and Stafford to play predominantly forward. Pattison to miss.

If we can get supply to Richo, Staff, P Bowden & Hughes with Tambling & Petiffer crumbing we should be too strong.

But we have to win the centre breaks.

My two cents.

I like your optimism Megabytes 64 and I too have a good feeling about this game....

right on the money TOO - think people forget how important knobel was for us early last year in winning clearances. Could see knobel taking the bounce and moving back to support our short backline with Simmo taking on the roving ruck role from the centre forward - he's been a great link man this year. Guess it depends how knobel pulled up from the weekend game.
