Tigers vs Dees - Game day thread

ah garry lyon the would be supposedly super coach if he ever took on a job, personally he likes the sound of his own voice...he aint a coaches left knacker...
I think Lyon would be a sensational coach personally. He is a superb tactician and generally makes some very astute comments in terms of players and positions on the ground.
We will see if it ever occurs, but I'd love him to coach Melbourne.

I agree, Ive always had time for his comments. Maybe its all relative with the amount of rubbish that gets thrown around by most commentators

agree tigers 80. he might make the odd insightful comment, nothing that any assistant AFL or VFL coach couldn't make, but a lot more to coaching than that. Just doesn't have the presence, which is what leadership is about.

A couple of years ago I thought the same thing but after seeing his efforts against the Irish I soon changed my mind. Tigers80 is spot on  ::)

I'd do a bit further and say he ain't a coach who has had his left knacker surgically removed's left knacker.

Struggled coaching Australia and does not like it out of his comfort zone.

3 goal loss looks honourable but we were ordinary and Plough has acknowledged that.

Postives were the match ups on Neitz, Johnstone, Bruce, Dave, Yze and with Mclean out we should have got closer.

Didnt look switched on today, sloppy skills and not as hard at the ball and attacking as previous weeks against Pies and Port.

Need to back our confidence in run and break oppostion thru quick disposal into the fwd line and if we dont mark the ball at least have it ready for the smallers players. Last night we look frightened to put the ball in the fwd 50.

What would you say about Krak's game RT?

You have an unhealthy pre-occupation with Krakouer ToO. This is the gameday thread where discussion of game events is the purpose, and I counted no less than 8 Krakouer related posts from you. Did you watch the game at all? Anything to say about the game as a whole?

I'll call it as I see it Goodone.

Couldnt of said it better - i can only hope he has the balls to go for a senior coaches role and then see really where he is as a senior coach. Sorry interested, i know you are a fan of his but he if he has any sense he will stay in his nice comfortable commentary box with the big bucks and not put his reputation on the line to coach a AFL side. I'm quietly confident that will be the case.... ;)

Obviously, pity we have to read it in what is supposed to be a thread about the game

I commentated on plenty apart from krak in the game GoodOne.
Have you actually read the thread or just chosen to highlight my criticism of krak's performance. ::)
I suppose it's my fault he got 6 possessions?
Besides Krak's performance believe it or not is part of the game discussion is it not?

ToOheys mentioned Krakouer twice, once at half time, once near the end. Over-dramatise much?

Really? Maths cant be your strong point then. I counted 8.

Out of interest ToO did you get the game live over there or are the comments based on radio commentary? Just interested to know if the broadcasters singled Krak out when so many others were ordinary too.

Obviously the commentators singled out other players apart from just Krakouer.
