tiges vs swans

I'm not as pleased as others here with the 19 point margin. As a percentage, 3 goals was a large margin considering we only kicked 10. Also added to that, we kicked a few when the sting was well and truely out of the game.

There will be a few more seniors playing this week vs the Dees, so hopefully the margin is alot closer, or in the positive.

Only 2 more practice matches before we play the Blues, and from the inter club and Cats game that I saw live, we will need to sharpen up our skills/style of play by a large margin prior to Round 1.

One of the things that Richmond sides have done over the past ten or so years is give up when losing.

It's just a rule of footy that if you're getting done you kick a goal. We usually stop doing that. It's a cultural change. We're kicking goals when we're getting done. It's about process. Getting it right. If the other side takes its foot off the peddle we score. And then we do it again.

Cheap goals? Well let's kick a lot of them. All the goals we kick at the moment are hard ones.

I reckon it's encouraging to see us keep trying to play with system.
