Time for some positivity :

At least the likes of Hughes, Moore, Morton & Polo have shown us in recent weeks that they are on the upward trend.
White, Edwards and Riewoldt have been good at times.
Deledio has just about stepped up to A grade,
Foley not far behind (has dropped off since Big V game though)
Richo has been a star
Browny had a shocker today but has been nearly back to his old self more often than not
Thursfield looks a great get from the rookie list


Not all doom and gloom - plenty to look forward if we can shift 6 or 8 (or even 10!) from those in my hit list prior to the 09 season.

Ridley, you're singing from my hymn sheet there. Try these for size:

Hyde, Howat, Silvester (VFL standard only)
Tiv (times up, over, thanks for the memories)
Graham (no skill)
Pattison, Tambling, Schulz (not developing as we would have hoped)
Casserly, Meyer ("will be a gun" I hear people saying over and over again - but injuries have had their say - Cogs too unfortunately)
Jackson, King, Mcguane (triers, but will never be elite)
Pettifer, Bowden - will we ever win a flag (or even make finals!) with these guys in our 22

Johnson : worst captain in the afl and offers absolutely nothing to the side.
Tuck : Almost every disposal ends up with the opposition. Terrible
Simmonds : Not the same since the lung injury and never will be. Time to move on
Brown : Same as simmonds but is a very selfish player that will never win as a premiership so should trade him as he still has currency
Polak : Can't play as a loose defender or a marking defender, and cant kick to play upfront. Why did we pick him up?
Mcmahon : Skinny, unnacountable soft receiver that misses more targets then he hits. Didn't we have enough of them already??

The worst of them all BLOODY WALLACE

Outcoached once more and after 4 years at the helm we have seen absolutely nothing.
Stevens won the game for Carlton because Einstein Wallace decided to play Foley head to head with Stevens. Stevens absolutely killed us but Wallace did not make a change to stop the flow!!! Pathetic. What was with King replacing Thursfield. Why not bring in Rance??? We will suffer like the doggies did towards the end of his reign if something isnt done quickly. Look at the doggies now that Eade has taken over. They have become a strong hard unit. Please don't give me the old but Geelong wanted to sack Thomson and look at them now. Geelong actually played in finals and were a kick away from a grand final before they decided to sack Thomson. We are nowhere near that level.

A lot of our players seem lost out on the field and i believe it is the fault of the coach due to his lack of leadership and gameplan.
