I read a post on Bummerblitz a few weeks ago asking if people had a few tickets to any game from the past which they'd choose and why.

Would be interesting to read which games PREnders would choose if they could go back in time.

Maybe choose 3 games we've actually been to and 3 we haven't but would like to have been there.

My three I was at.

1- '95 final against the Bummers.  I could do with a dose of that feeling again. Been a long time.

2- The low scoring game when we defeated the Hawks in the wet at Lake Waverley.  I miss that hard slog in the wet kind of footy.  Booooo @ roofs on dolls houses.

3- The round 22 game at the OO where we put Carlton out fo the finals.  Loved the excitement as we came from behind and wiped the smug grins off their supporters faces.  Was a real game of the walking wounded where everyone gave their all.

My three I haven't been to but wish I had.

1-  1943 premiership where we beat the Bummers by 5 points.  Sounds close and exciting and I'd love to see Jack Dyer play.
Richmond 4.2 6.5 8.8 12.14-86
Essendon 2.4 4.9 8.13 11.15-81
Best Waldron, Dyer, Harris, Perkins, Merrett, Broadstock, Bawden, Oppy

2- 1980 premiership.  I've never been to a grand final.  1980 was a bad time of my life and I have no memory of the game.  I'll watch the dvd soon.

3-  Better go for one I've seen on telly. I would have loved to have been there the night we beat Adelaide over there in the wet.  I love electrical storms but it must have been scary to be out in it.

My three favourites I've been too

1. 95 final against the bombers.  Sitting there thinking our season was over, only to see Scotty Turner and Matty Rogers turn the game.

2. 2003 vrs hawthorn where we were 51 points down and came back to win kicking 13 goals straight in the process.

3. 141 point win over Fitzroy....  Sadly their last in Melbourne.  Was good for the win but also to clap Fitzroy off the ground.

Ones I wished I'd been to.

1. Game against Port this year where we came back and won celebrating Richo's 200th. (Damn work commitments)

2. 1980 Grand Final....  Only four years old so it wasn't really an option.

3. Any game with Royce Hart in it.

Time Machine. lol :cutelaugh, you really are showing your age Rosy.
If we are to go back, can I influence the outcome.

1. Round 22. 1997 Richmond vs Carlton at Princes Park ( Optus Oval kiddies ) when we staged a come back to beat the Blue Baggers and Benny Harrison, Carlton reject was our Match Breaker. I was hugging 2 strange women in the Crowd as we won and the joyful hug made it onto the News. Not a Good Look for the Family at Home, next time Hug and Hide.

2. my first game watching the Tiges was at the G when I was about 9 as a guest of a Carlton Family. We lost, but I got to stand on top of their Beer Cans in the Ponsford and I saw Royce. Time Change, I shake up the Frothies

3. the night at the G, Southern stand about 1997 (Carey Era) when I single handedly manage to incite a Crowd of Kangaroo supporters into a Frenzy. Yep Spitting Kids, Swearing Grannies, Good Stuff. The Change- Tigers Win.

Wish List. To watch 1. Captain Blood. 2. Skinny Titus 3. Gentle Giant Roy Wright
