The only problem with Tiva in 08 is if he continues to keep Connors or Collins from valuable MCG wing expierence
Unfortunately we'll never see the best of Tivva. His style of play required him to be in a far classier and organised team to stand out like he's capable of. Sadly he's the scapegoat for the frustrated Tiger faithfull but I don't think he's to blame for our woes.
Nothing stopped Tivva winning a B&F at Richmond, if he had the goods then he should of consistantly showed it. Was never good enough.

I've always been one who can see the odd virtue of G.Tivendale. But it's time he went. I was disappointed he was selected but more disappointed with his game on Sun. If we are fair dinkum, he'd surely have played his last game in yellow & black. Even Howat has more scope for improvement as a wingman. I'd even rather see JON given a game and a chance than see Tiv provide even less of the same. It's over for Tiv.

Spot on as usual Diggler, shows how bad we are travelling if Tivva gets a game. Modern football and Tivva a mutually exclusive ... classic Tivva in front of the interchange when he was free on his right side but refused to take the option and did a U-turn to ultimately turn the ball over!

howat at least will do the one thing that north and collingwood players done non-stop the past 2 weeks and what our players refused to do,and that`s run himself into the ground making space and at least providing an option to go to.hopper said:

howat may not have tivva`s pace or kicking ability but he doesn`t need to, to just be that link man between the backline and forward line.
you only need the willpower to want to bust your gut all day for the team,and howat has that in bucketloads.
