The time is nigh for a dawn of a new era once again at Punt Road. All the talk around town is that Terry Wallace who once drew breath back into the tiger faithful nearly 5 years ago is about to be paid out and drive his Monaro up Punt Road on the Eastern Freeway and go home, but he will leave a dilemma that will have the Richmond supporters contemplating 2 things, to tank or not to tank?
My belief is the club must tank. It must tank that hard it must ensure it gets the best pick available in this year's National Draft. I don't give a rat's about pride, just for this year.
I can see what's going to happen, a Sheedy, McRae, Rawlings, or Campbell will step in and the team will redeem itself winning a few games and we will fall out of the contention in getting a quality draft pick.
Time to do a Carlton, we must roll on backs, rotate our kids through the team and in various position and experiment.
