Hmmm.......

Imagine if TW got a 2 or 3 or 1 or 4 year deal.

Hmm.........

lol @ the irony of 5 years to 'rebuild the list'.

He's leaving the place in a bigger mess than when he walked in.

Should have sacked him at the end of 2007 and would have if not for this ridiculous ball/chain contract which has hamstrung the club in this current situation.

The sad part of this calamitous chapter is in attempting not to perpetuate perceptions of sacking the coach again, it's now blown up into almost a worse situation by keeping him on after Newman's stuff up. :help

That's why it's now so important for us to stick to the process, no matter how painful the next month might be.

March has got that right.

You'd back the 2003/2004 team to beat the one we have now then? And the clubs list had a greater future you reckon back then ToO? :help

What makes you think our current list is so much better?
We've got a fistful of genuine young talent and the rest you can throw a blanket of doubt over with several stalwarts departing.
I wish I shared your faith. :help

I'm not in denial mate, I'm fully accepting of the sh!t we're in. I'm in shock at the fact that people on this website can still be thinking that all this is make believe.

What do people think the internal feeling is of any workplace that is not performing?

Of course there are blowups and threats in amongst the more constructive conversations. Assuming what has been reported is accurate, I am glad that they still care enough to get to that point. Nothing of the actual details I have heard has bothered me too much.

2 observations of the whole saga I believe are critical-

1) That March and Cameron have shown effective leadership and that gives me some confidence things can change for the better in the near future.

2) Whoever is responsible for leaking the intimate details of the football department meetings has got a lot to answer for. Leaks at Richmond have occurred far too often, and until these are fixed then unfortunately we will be held up for ridicule when private information of a negative nature is provided to the public.

Oh my God.
People have been calling for Terry to go for some time and when the players can see no future in Terry you all get up set.
The players only did what we are all thinking.
Good on them i say.

Terry has known he is gone at the end of the year for some time so why stay?

As ToOeys said elsewhere, right sentiment, wrong process.

Newman went about the whole thing the wrong way (if he did actually ask TW to resign). Johnson should be castrated for his part.

Relax people. We've been a laughing stock for years, all we've done is introduce some new material. If Trevor Marmalade had tried introducing a new gag every so often he'd still be in a job.

Very funny ;D

If you're still in denial about what's going on, then basically you're just at the first stage in the grieving process. It's time to move on to acceptance now.

Got to go through anger, bargaining and depression first :help

Agree with you about what we need in a coach, a teacher and a disciplinarian, in hindsight a lot of Wallace's problems come back to not being enough of a disciplinarian in his early years.
