Personally I am not too concerned about losing at the moment. We are playing all the kids we've been saying we have to play (no Simmo, Brownie, Knobel etc). Apart from the Geelong match we are not getting beaten convincingly and still have our respect intact. Sure it would be good to win a couple, but do we really want to have 6 or 7 wins under our belt and finish 12-9 and let Melbourne, Brisbane or god forbid Carlton the first draft picks. Imagine if we had won a couple of the close ones recently, still knowing in our hearts this is not going to be the year for finals footy for the Richmond football club. Lets hope we get a couple of wins for the kids sake, but not enough to put us off the bottom of the ladder.

Hate to tell you this Acker, but we may as well get a couple of wins and get off the bottom of the ladder, because even if we don't win a single game this season and collect the spoon unless the Blues can win 3 more games they'll get that 1st draft pick anyway.

Preseason draft is probably as important as the main draft this year, not only will it give us a massive advantage in trade negotiations but should also net us a ruckman that we desperately need - maybe not Charman but probably a Meeson or a Maric.
