Whatever it was it, it didn't look like a Wallace game plan.

From what I saw the second half was play on at all costs and get the ball into the forward line as quick as possible.

Something we have been screaming for for years.

Why do we have to get to such a point in the season for this to come out?

We are not as bad as our ladder position suggests.

A new coach with more discipline, a better game plan and with some player belief we would be in the top 8 with this list, I have no doubt.

Why o why do we have to be 1-7 for today's type of football to be played?

Wallace is a moron, almost every time we play a game plan different to his normal one we do well yet does he learn from this? No we just revert the next week.

So can someone PLEASE tell me why the F!! didn't we load the backline with one a minute and a half to go??

Our boys have simply forgotten how to win.

Our coaches,...................well what more can you say?

GAMEPLAN?!@! Are you +%îng kidding? For the first half on a wet and blustery day one side (I'll give you a hint...it wasn't us) was playing wet weather footy - kick it long into 50 push it forward at all costs, do not over possess the footy! And the other was not! And that comes down to the coaching on the day! We took a half of footy to catch up! Yes we should have adjusted on the ground, but in the absence of that the instruction should have come from the box.

The game plan looked a lot better , play on at all cost, get it moving! Yes it worked better in the second half, but i just don't think we had the confidance in the first quarter and half to carry it out. Times in the first quarter players marked the ball and failed to give it of to a player running past! I really think it was cousins who got us going his gut running was on display yesterday, the mans always moving and i think its finally rubbing off on some, but not all of his team mates. You can tell hes played with a class team. He gives the ball to where his team mates should be . Unfortunatly most of our players haven't played in a class team! Did any body see when cousins had the ball and handballed it to simmonds who was just behind him and flat footed not running past for the quick give!!

Yes. I thought that too. Simmonds obviously is not used to quick thinking. Daniel Kerr or Judd he certainly isn't. He is so awkward and fumbly these days. Still haven't forgiven him for handballing to an opponent completely in the clear in the Melbourne match. What a doofus. His best is definitely behind him.

Wallace has always had the ability to devise a great tactics to win an individual game, what he falls down, or at least failed to do at Richmond is developing a successful core long term strategy

The game plan looked better because you had Cogs and Cousins and finding their feet and Cotchin providing a handful of quality touches. One right decision often makes the next 5 actions look much better.

If we had one key tall and one key back the game plan would have looked even better!

Agreed. You can't buy quality first posessions rather than playing parcel the parcel with a hot rock in close like we normally do.

Totally agree. Players are begining to learn and it will take time for all.

Playing next to Cousins players are begining to understand to expect a pass with a split second decision. It was so noticeable in the Carlton game.

Certain experience players are always needed to be mixed with youth to learn on the field of play. Not pure youth only. Cogs, Cotchin, Cousins & Foley the more game time they get with each other the better & stronger the midfield will be. Watch this space as they say.

I do hope Cousins plays on next year as his experience is too valuable for the youth imo and as mentioned previously becomes our midfield coach.
