Tango - he is a ball player and needs the time to get it right in the guts. He is a genuine on ball player that needs time to develop mate and not wasted on the forward line.

Ok but if we are looking for someone like lids to be a focal point up forward then we are in deep *smile* as far as im concerned. The guy is a running centreline player not a focal target up forward.

It is a good thing that not every game will (or should not) be the same.

Hopefully with the addition of some senior players back in the side for the season proper it will give the team a bit more structure, and confidence.

tuby, im not saying i want lids as a permanent fwd, if only we had 3 of them we can play one fwd, one back and one on HB.....

waht im saying is that there is probably only 2 genuine samrt footballers (elite samrts that is) in our team, Browny & Lids, probably a bit harsh on Sugar but thats about it - the rest are made up of athletes and skilled runners.... thats our problem - team balance

we need 3 mongrel hardmen - 1 back, 1 centre & 1 fwd, a little more footy smarts and 3 pre seasons for our kids and we will be very good.
