Went to the practice match. My mates boy (Matthew Vasilevski) who's contracted with the Coburg Tigers was playing. Not much to report, there would only have been half a dozen or so senior regulars playing (Polak, Polo, Hyde, Newman, *smile*, Raines, few others). Polak was imposing in the forward line, Polo looked good. Many of the players used were from Coburg and Eltham (?) apparently. Tambling had his ankle strapped, but no drama (didn't play). Foley (didn't play) looked like a greyhound, he might take a further step. Those supporters who didn't go didn't miss much.
