Tom Hawkins Injury

This kid has the body size to progress into an absolute powerhouse, and tiger fans would be falling over themselves if he was on our list. His weight and big frame would put extra stress on his growing bones, and stress related injuries to Tom in his first year would not come as too huge a shock to medicos down Karinia way.

The boy certainly has cat fans in a tizz.

Yeah and so did the other Nafan, you know the Ablett one.
If the cats could get young Nathan to be fair dinkum aout his footy and a couple of years of development into Tomahawk they might just wind up with a very scary forward combination.
The key word being............. might. Just gunna wait and watch with interest.

When I look at Hawkins I see a junior version of Otto. Big legs. Slow mover. No doubt he has talent but I hope for Geelongs sake he's more mobile than Otto.

Hawkins is the real deal.Don't worry about that.

he's already streets ahead of Nafan Ablett.

Humiliated Scott Gumbleton (among others) at Kardinia in the Championships.

Where did Gumby go in the Draft?

Old fashioned player this Hawkins. Not a great kick. If he goes on with it football fans will enjoy watching him play. Bad luck about the stress fracture.

I've got a big question mark on his body size at such an early age.
Just see the possibility of him being injury prone or struggling to get his body shape/condition right to become the best footballer he can, something like a Lance Fatnall.
