I would love to initiate a supporters forum,by inviting four people that have strong ties/bled for the Richmond Football Club to discuss exactly how they see the list, player development, recruiting etc.Tommy Hafey,Kevin Sheedy.Rex Hunt, and Denis Pagan.Plenty of premiership experience;lots of passion.Perhaps the four amigos could reinvent the wheel.Sheedy to coach,Hafey conditioning/discipline,Pagan juniors/recruiting,Hunt memberships/PR.Sometimes you need to look into the past to find out what you lost in going into the future.

He does have the tiger passion Rosy, and relates to grassroots(I know,I know) supporters, and probably would relish the opportunity.

With the exception of Pagan - the game has progressed passed the others.

It is never wise to go back as the result is never as good as the first time around.

Wallace is not the messiah we thought he would be - and - I really don't know if one exists for the RFC as we seem to be riddled with know-alls who won't listen to a leader.

We are looking at an extended period in the wilderness - we lack leadership in the Boardroom, in the Football Department, in the Coaches Box and on the field.

Even if Jesus Christ himself came to Richmond he would have trouble in getting all those associated with the club behind him and working as one for the one goal of a premiership................We appear to be simply not that clever as an organisation.........RT

He has plenty of Saints passion too. I've been with en ex-teammate of his I'm friends with when they were discussing it. That's not the reason I don't think he's an ideal PR man though.

His double standards publicly moralising about Carey's expoits while he was dropping his dacks himself aren't the kind of values I'd want from the PR face of Tigerland.

Agree with most of your thoughts, however bringing together some wise old heads wouldn't hurt, for all those reasons you mentioned. Also ,the extended period in the wilderness is now 28 years;I do not not want us to be like Melb,St Kilda,Footscray. It has been too long, too many excuses, too many egos(and Christ only lasted 32 years, the last time,He wouldn't get such a look in at Punt Rd,the second time around!)

Reminds me of a sign outside a church in Hawthorn in the 70s that asked what 'Would they do if God came to Hawthorn?', some wag wrote, Move Peter Hudson to Centre-half back.

Bring back the old brigade. I think its nonsense to say the game has past them by. There knowledge and success speaks for itself.

Any takers on Andy Collins?

His performance last year at Coburg, getting the Tiger cubs and Coburg players to play as a team, was exceptional. His history at Box Hill wasn't bad either.

Are you sure about that? The only under 19 Richmond premiership coaches that I can think of is Slug Jordan in the 60's & 70's and Doug Searl in the 80's- early 90's.

At the Kangas and the Bummers before he went back and took over as senior coach at North.
